St Just will have to wait until Saturday to retain the Cornwall Premier League title after their match with Newquay was abandoned on Monday. Newquay made 215-7, with St Just on 141-3 in reply when play came to an end due to bad weather. St Just need just two points from their final game against Callington to secure a sixth successive title. Werrington's game with Truro was also called off with Werrington on 97-1, chasing 155 to win. Paul's home game against Falmouth was another victim of the bad weather with Falmouth on 21-0, chasing 159. But Callington completed their match at St Austell, making 135 before bowling St Austell out for 105.
