Fell felt the second day's play was called off prematurely |
Lincolnshire drew their Minor Counties Championship match against Cumberland after losing two days play because of rain at Carlisle. The visitors were 158-2 in their second innings after the home side declared on 88-9, when play stopped. Director of cricket Mark Fell told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "We were well in command. We can't do anything about the weather but I think we would have won. "We batted OK, but we bowled magnificently," he added. Lincolnshire's final Minor Counties match is away against Suffolk on 23 August.
