Glynde will face West Yorkshire side Streethouse in the final
Glynde & Beddingham have reached the Village Cricket Cup final at Lord's for the first time in their history.
The Sussex side made 241-7 from their 40 overs against Welsh side Cresselly before bowling out them out for 122 to win by 119 runs.
The final takes place at Lord's (Monday 14 September) against West Yorkshire side Streethouse.
"We're absolutely over the moon. It was a great day for the whole club," captain Adam Davies told BBC Sussex.
"It would be nice to go on and win the game but it is an honour to play there. It's every club cricketer's dream to play at Lord's."
Glynde & Beddingham managed to get the last eight three years ago.
But one of their players, Steve Lawrence, was so confident of a good run in the Village Cup this year that he booked the day of the final off work at the start of the season.
"I just had a feeling that this could be our year," he said. "And now it's happened.
"We've entered the cup every year since 1972 and the best we've ever done before is get to the quarter-finals in 2006.
"None of the team has ever played at Lord's before so the final will be the biggest day in the club's history."
