Chobham team Valley End won the National Village Cup title at Lord's, beating Woodhouse Grange by 24 runs.

Valley End made 195-6 in their 40 overs before bowling out the defending champions for 171.

Ed Young was man of the match for Valley End, top-scoring with 69 and taking the winning catch.

He told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "It's a dream I have had since a little kid to play here. We've performed and won, I couldn't ask for anything more."
