Staffordshire forced a draw with Norfolk in their minor counties Eastern division match at Manor Park. Chasing 318 to win, Norfolk closed on 317-8 after failing to score the two runs they needed off the final ball. Unbeaten centuries from Liam Hughes (184no) and Kim Barnett (126no) saw Staffordshire declare on 413-4. Norfolk appeared to be on course for a win as Ben Patston hit 101 and Chris Borrett 89no but they fell one run short of the total required.
