Afghanistan coach Kabir Khan believes a World Cup spot is a realistic target after his team won the World Cricket League Division Four. Spinner Mohammad Nabi took 4-9 as Afghanistan beat Hong Kong by 57 runs. Both teams had already sealed their places for Division Three in Argentina in January and the top two sides there go into a World Cup qualifying stage. Former Pakistan seam bowler Khan said: "2011 is a dream - I am very hopeful about it. The players deserve to be." The victory for Afghanistan follows the capture of the Division Five title in Jersey in May. "We are taking things as they come and obviously we have to go through Division Three to start with," added Khan. "We have time on our side now. The guys have already started playing as a team. We need to raise our game a bit and be a bit fitter and be more mentally prepared for the tournament." Hong Kong are coached by former Leicestershire and England batsman Aftab Habib. The 36-year-old, who opted to retire at the end of the 2006 season, is also hopeful of a World Cup appearance for his team and admitted: "I don't want to look too far ahead but it is a dream for me and it is a dream for a lot of our players. "Our next main aim is to do well in Division Three." The four other teams in Division Three will be hosts Argentina, Papua New Guinea, Cayman Islands, and Uganda.
