Broseley were relegated from the Shropshire Premier League after falling just eight runs short of the victory they needed at Newtown. Dai Brown led the way for Newtown with 89 before being stumped off the bowling of Shivraj Singh. But, in reply, although Broseley got close, they could only reach 197-7 and had to settle for a losing draw. Shane Gwilt took five wickets as champions Reman Services skittled Albrighton for just 43. That was the lowest score of the day and Reman lost just one wicket in reply to win in comfort. Madeley were bowled out for 97 after Jimmy Arbuckle (5-24) ripped out the top order for Quatt. In reply, Dean Robinson's 39 led Quatt to a six-wicket victory. In another low-scoring game, Much Wenlock's Hayden Burling took four wickets as Bomere Heath were bowled out for just 71. That left opening batsman Dave Bradley, unbeaten at the end on 40, to score the winning runs for Wenlock. Ludlow ended their season on a high, beating Shelton by eight wickets. Will Sparrow took five for 17 as Shelton were bowled out for 144. Openers Rob Lockley (48 not out) and Tim Goldthorp (45) then paved the way to victory.
