Hurry is trying to deliver Somerset's first County Championship title |
Somerset coach Andy Hurry is worried their Pro40 and County Championship campaigns are on a knife edge after Thursday's Pro40 result. A dramatic tie against Worcestershire means they face relegation from the Pro40 while they try and mount a challenge for the County Championship. Hurry told BBC Somerset: "Realistically we are in trouble in the Pro40 now and on paper we're better than that. "We've played some good cricket but we've not been ruthless enough." Somerset have one remaining Pro40 game away to Lancashire which they may need to win to avoid relegation or being involved in a play-off to stay up. "In an ideal world we'd be outside of the bottom three and be able to concentrate on the Championship. "It's unfortunate the last game is right in the middle of our Championship campaign but that's the hand we've been dealt."
