A record last-wicket partnership has left Norfolk with a challenging run chase to win their Minor Counties Championship match with Bedfordshire. Bedfordshire's last pair put on 81 in their second innings, leaving Norfolk with a final-day target of 363 to win. Beds had been reduced to 82-9 before captain James Knott's unbeaten 57 and 29 from Will Sneath got them to 163. Earlier Norfolk had been bowled all out for 144 but Bedfordshire chose not to enforce the follow-on. Norfolk captain Carl Rogers told BBC Radio Norfolk the chase could have been a lot easier for his side. "When you bowl a side out cheaply you always do get one stand but they doubled their score with the last wicket," said Rogers. "We need a good start, it's no good being 50-3 in a chase like that," he added. Norfolk must bat better than they did in the first innings of the match when an alarming collapse left them on 12-6. BBC Radio Norfolk will have updates throughout the final day of Norfolk v Bedfordshire.
