Rampant India knocked Hong Kong out of the Asia Cup with a 256-run victory on day two, while defending champions Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by 131 runs. Mahendra Dhoni and Suresh Raina hit centuries as India posted the Cup's best ever score of 374-4 off 50 overs. They then bowled Hong Kong out for 118 in 36.5 overs, with leg-spinner Piyush Chawlam taking 4-23. Kumar Sangakkara hit 101 in Sri Lanka's total of 357-9 but, despite the defeat, Bangladesh are expected to advance. Tigers captain Mohammad Ashraful's decision to field first after he won the toss backfired as Sanath Jayasuriya and Sangakkara put on 116 runs off 89 balls.  | 606: DEBATE | And Bangladesh, who beat the United Arab Emirates by 96 runs on Monday, never looked to challenge the Sri Lankans' experienced bowling attack and were restricted to 226-7 as they played out the 50 overs. Sri Lanka take on the UAE in the last Group A match on Thursday and are likely to finish top of the group with two victories if they beat the minnows. India, meanwhile, will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in the last Group B match on Thursday to decide the top two finishers for the Super Four stage.
