Salman Butt blasted a rapid 74 as Pakistan went 4-0 up in their one-day series against Bangladesh thanks to a seven-wicket victory in Multan. Saqibul Hasan struck 108 for the Tigers and added 97 with Mashrafe Mortaza (38) but there was little else in their 210. Umar Gul and Sohail Khan took three wickets each and Mohammad Asif struck twice in his first game since October. Butt and Kamran Akmal shared 97, while Bazid Khan (51) and Mohammad Yousuf (37no) added 82 as Pakistan eased home.
