THIRD ONE-DAY INTERNATIONAL, ST LUCIA Sri Lanka 257-8 (50 overs) v West Indies 81-2 (18.2 overs) - No result (rain) Dilshan just about makes his ground against West Indies |
Poor weather in St Lucia saw the third one-day international abandoned, denying Sri Lanka a consolation win as West Indies won the series 2-0. Sri Lanka had posted 257-8 in their innings and West Indies were 81-2 after 18.2 overs, Sewnarine Chattergoon hitting 46, when the rain came. The hosts already had an unassailable 2-0 lead after wins in Port of Spain. But Sri Lanka sought to restore some pride on a slow wicket in St Lucia with Mahela Udawatte top-scoring with 73.
