The West Indies pace bowler was named in the Barbados side for the opening match of the Carib Beer series which took place last week.

Should the Barbadians reach the final of the series Best will miss the opening two weekends of Leek's season.

Best spent last season playing for invitational side Lashings.

He made his Test debut in 2003 but it was not until England toured the Caribbean a year later that his trademark hostile bowling and fiery temperament became known to the world.

Later that year, Best was included in the West Indies squad that toured England, a tour in which Andrew Flintoff famously told Tino to "mind the windows".
