Dravid was injured in the slips last Sunday |
India captain Rahul Dravid will miss the last two matches of the one-day series against South Africa with a finger injury. Virender Sehwag will take over the captaincy while VVS Laxman has been called up to join the team.
Dravid sustained the injury while fielding in the slips in the third one-dayer on Sunday but is expected to be fit for the Test series.
The Proteas lead the five-match series 2-0, with one match lost to rain.
Meanwhile, South Africa have picked batsman Ashwell Prince in place of Boeta Dippenaar for the final two matches.
Chairman of selectors Haroon Lorgat said: "We have brought Ashwell back to give us experienced options should we wish to change our top order batting."
Lorgat added that six senior players - including Shaun Pollock - would be rested for Friday's Pro20 match.
