Yousuf is congratulated by his captain after his century |
Mohammad Yousuf again fell short of a double-century as Pakistan and West Indies drew the second Test in Multan.
Yousuf, who had earlier completed his seventh ton of the year, was caught on 191, having been dismissed for 192 in the first Test in the series.
Resuming on 213-2, Pakistan lost three wickets in the morning session for 95 runs but Yousuf and Abdul Rassaq's stand of 113 made the match safe.
Pakistan lead the series 1-0 with one Test remaining.
Yousuf's hundred arrived off 153 balls and featured 13 fours.
Imran Farhat was the first to go on the final day when he was run out for 76 with the score on 243.
Jerome Taylor trapped Inzamam-ul-Haq lbw for 10 and shortly before lunch, West Indies took their fifth wicket of the innings when Daren Powell bowled Shoaib Malik for four.
Despite his flowing innings, Yousuf was lucky to survive at least two very close leg before appeals from Taylor and Corey Collymore, who examined the batsman with the second new ball.
He was also dropped on 108 by Runako Morton at second slip off Powell, who bowled his best spell of the match.
Yousuf equalled the record of Sir Vivian Richards and Sri Lanka's Aravinda de Silva in completing his seventh century of the year - his second of the series after a 192 in Lahore.
His partnership with Rassaq came to an end when the latter was brilliantly caught at midwicket by Shivnarine Chanderpaul off the bowling of Dave Mohammad.
The same bowler-fielder combination finally did for Yousuf himself, prompting the match to be declared a draw.
