Nel finds form on Sri Lanka tour
Nel celebrates
Nel impressed in the sole warm-up match of the tour
South Africa paceman Andre Nel took four wickets to help bowl Sri Lanka A out for 162 in their tour opener.

Nel took 4-39 as the visiting side gained a 303-run first innings lead and were 43-1 in their second innings at close of the second day's play.

The tourists resumed on 351-3, going on to declare at 465-4 with Hashim Amla's lbw to seamer Akalanka Ganegama for 150 the only wicket to fall.

Stand-in captain Ashwell Prince and AB de Villiers both finished 50 not out.

Prince, 15 overnight, took 117 balls for his half century while De Villiers reached the mark off only 46 balls with 10 fours.

After an excellent show by the batsmen, South Africa's seamers struck at regular intervals as the hosts crashed in 46.3 overs.

Upul Chandana played well for his 51 but there was little support from his team-mates, including four batsmen with regular Test experience.

But, with the first Test looming next Thursday Prince decided not to enforce the follow-on and instead get more batting practice on the third and final day.
