India opened their West Indies tour with a 116-run victory over Jamaica at Montego Bay in Tuesday's warm-up.
The visitors, winning the toss and batting, hit 289-7, Suresh Raina hitting 50 before retiring.
Two batsmen, Mohammad Kaif and Mahendra Dhoni - who hit three sixes in front of a crowd of 3,500 - each made 49.
Seamer Munaf Patel took 3-33 but there was some concern for the tourists with neither Ramesh Powar nor Sri Sreesanth able to play because of injury.
Some reports suggested 27-year-old off-spinner Powar had been ruled out of the first two one-day internationals after twisting an ankle in practice.
Sreesanth, the young fast bowler, is thought to be closer to match fitness.
The first of five one-day internationals is on Thursday in Kingston.
