Kumar Sangakkara's century on day three put Sri Lanka in command of the second Test against West Indies.
The hosts were 340-7 by stumps, holding a 342-run lead , with Sangakkara 135 not out and Rangana Herath on four.
Sangakkara partnered Tillakaratne Dilshan (49) in a 109-run fifth-wicket stand after Jermaine Lawson claimed two wickets in the third over of the day.
Mahela Jayawardene (43) was bowled with an inswinger and Thilan Samaraweera caught behind two balls later.
Sangakkara reached his eighth hundred in 48 Tests by sweeping off-spinner Omari Banks to the fine-leg boundary to rousing applause on his old school ground.
He looked dominating through, except when wicket-keeper Denesh Ramdin dropped a leg-side chance to allow him to bring up his fifty.
Dilshan missed out on his fourth Test half-century when he edged Banks to Runako Morton at slip.
He faced 82 balls and hit seven boundaries in a 148-minute innings.
Only 56.5 overs were bowled during the day which had a late start and was interrupted twice because of rain.
