Sri Lankans hope for resurgence
Marvan Atapattu
Sri Lanka captain Marvan Atapattu hoped his team's first success in the fifth match of the one-day series in India would inspire them to greater things.

India won the first match by 152 runs to set the tone for the campaign, but the Sri Lankans can take heart for the remaining two limited overs games.

"It is nice to win to start off with," Atapattu said. "Hopefully, we can win more. That'll boost us for the Tests."

The first of the three-match Test series begins on 2 December.
