Cup glory for Ireland in Namibia
Ireland all-rounder Kyle McCallan
Irish all-rounder Kyle McCallan claimed four Kenyan wickets
Ireland completed a six-wicket victory over Kenya in the tournament final in Namibia to win the ICC Intercontinental Cup for the first time.

The Irish needed 245 for victory on the final day of the final after bowling Kenya out for 156 in Namibia.

Kyle McCallan took four wickets while Andrew White claimed three and Adrian McCoubrey chipped in with two.

Ireland reached the target with ease with Jeremy Bray hitting 64 and White scoring the winning run.

McCallan and White shared the man-of-the-match award.

Kenya started the final strongly by scoring 401-4 declared in their first innings on Thursday.

Ireland responded by declaring on 313-4, Niall O'Brien top scoring on 106 not out. Andre Botha contributed 78 and Eoin Morgan 60.

The tournament consists of three-day matches, which count as first-class, for teams on the rung below Test status.
