Pujara puts India U19 in command
Third Under-19 Test, Calcutta, day one (close): India 283-2 v England

Opener Cheteshwar Pujara made 162 not out as India ended day one of the third under-19 Test against England on 283-2 in Jamshedpur.

Pujara, who shared a first wicket stand of 135 with Parvez Aziz (58), faced 281 balls during the day and hit 20 fours.

David Griffiths of Hampshire and Kent's Joe Denly claiming a wicket each as England tried eight different bowlers.

But none of them could dislodge Pujara as India, already 2-0 up in the series, ended the day in a strong position.
