Brian Lara pointed out that his century against Pakistan will count for little if West Indies fail to repeat those heroics in Perth on Tuesday.
Lara's men beat Pakistan by 58 runs, but must stop them again to meet Australia in the VB Series finals.
"I enjoyed batting today and I enjoyed the fact that I went out there and did something for the team," Lara said.
"But that's all in the past now. I'm looking forward to Tuesday and another good performance from 11 guys."
Playing in his 250th one-day international, Lara hit his fifth century against Pakistan despite a wrist problem, which has troubled him throughout the tournament.
"Early on I still got a feeling of pain in my wrist, the ball wasn't coming off the bat properly," Lara said.
"But as I got warm and the adrenaline started flowing, I think things really worked out later on."
Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq said Lara was almost unstoppable at his best and was the clear difference as the West Indies reached a ground record 339-4.
"Lara played outstanding today - that's why they made 340," Inzamam said.
"When he's getting runs his team must win."
