The first professional cricket league in the USA has received a major boost after a satellite TV company agreed to start broadcasting matches. Pro Cricket has signed a deal with the Dish network, which has 10 million customers across the country.
The 20 overs a side league features eight teams split into two divisions.
It was launched earlier this month and the inaugural season will culiminate in a final to be played at Bridgewater, New Jersey in September.
Dish provided coverage of last year's Cricket World Cup in South Africa.
They also plan to screen next month's triangular series between India, Pakistan and Australia in Holland.
It will be followed by the ICC Champions Trophy in England the following month when the USA will make their debut against the world's leading cricket nations.
Pro Cricket chairman Kal Patel described the company as "the leader in televising international cricket in America".
