Century delights Razzaq
Abdul Razzaq
Razzaq launches another powerful drive in his explosive unbeaten 107
Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq explained there were two sides to his innings of 107 in their one-day win over Zimbabwe in Multan.

"My aim was to bat defensively for at least 20 overs when I went in at 36-4 and see off the new ball," he said.

"The pressure was on us, but together with my captain and later with Afridi, we managed to score a tall total."

Zimbabwe skipper Tatenda Taibu said: "We didn't put the ball in the right areas in the last few overs."

Taibu continued: "Our bowlers bowled well initially but those brilliant knocks by Razzaq and Afridi blew us away.

"We garnered hopes of upsetting them once we caught them at 146-6 but we didn't finish it off well."

Pakistan vice-captain Yousuf Youhana, meanwhile, revealed that skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq had been unable to field because of injury.

"He's having some groin problem, but hopefully he will be fit for the second game (in Peshawar on Sunday)," he said.

Youhana added: "We're trying to overcome the problem of not playing the new white ball well at the start, which is why we lost a few quick wickets."
