Taylor leads fightback
Brendon Taylor lifted Zimbabwe with an unbeaten 90 after their bowlers had suffered against a Pakistan Board Patron's XI in Lahore.

The home side declared on 529-9 after Aamir Bashir made 100 not out and Riaz Afridi hit 66 off 53 balls.

Zimbabwe struggled to 106-3 in reply but Vusi Sibanda helped Taylor add 81 for the fourth wicket.

Sibanda was out for 34 but Taylor struck a six and 15 fours as Zimbabwe reached 187-4 before bad light ended play.

Zimbabwe play Pakistan in the first match of a tri-series, also involving Sri Lanka, at Multan on 30 September.
