England will have a new-look squad for the forthcoming women's Test and one-day series against South Africa. Rosalie Birch, who is only 19, and Beth Morgan are included for the first time after the catching the eyes of the selectors during the recent Super Fours competition.
Birch could to open the batting with vice-captain Charlotte Edwards following the decision to omit Kathryn Leng and Sarah Collyer, although Hannah Lloyd is also in the squad.
Wicket-keeper Jane Cassar, a member of England's World Cup-winning team a decade ago, regains her place after a two-year absence.
And there is also a recall for off-spinner Helen Wardlaw, who made her debut on tour in India two winters ago.
"We have a strong squad that is constantly developing and moving in the right direction.
"It is promising to see some of our younger girls starting to break into the senior ranks and creating competition for places," said England's new coach Richard Bates.
The first Test takes place at Shenley from 7-10 August, with the second at Taunton from 20-23 August.
The three one-day games at Chelmsford, Bristol and Cardiff are sandwiched in between.
