England put up a poor total on a good track after showing desperate immaturity with the bat.

Andrew Flintoff (39) and Vikram Solanki (36) both got out when well set while Shoaib Malik took 3-26.

The visitors made a good start with Mohammad Hafeez top-scoring with 69.

James Anderson led the England comeback, finishing with 3-59, but Pakistan always held the upper hand and won through at the death.
