Surrey have suspended Mark Ramprakash for their CB40 game with Northants after he showed dissent to umpires.
The incident happened following his dismissal for obstructing the field during, external the final day of their County Championship game with Gloucestershire.
Surrey chief executive Richard Gould told the club website:, external "Mark regrets his action and accepts a one-game ban."
As well as Wednesday's ban Ramprakash received a three-point penalty from the England and Wales Cricket Board.
