Robertson misses out on bronze

Robertson fell just short of a medal placing
Wales' Adam Robertson failed to win Commonwealth Games table tennis bronze, losing to Nigeria's Segun Toriola.

Robertson took an early lead, fell behind then rallied to level the match before eventually being beaten 7-11 11-3 11-8 8-11 4-11 11-9 11-4.

Gold went to Achanta Sarath Kamal of India who beat Aussie William Henzell 11-5 8-11 5-11 11-8 11-8 7-11 11-8.

Zhang Xueling won women's singles gold, beating fellow Singaporean Li Jia Wei 6-11 11-3 11-5 2-11 7-11 11-7 11-2.

Singapore's Xu Yan beat Australia's Miao Miao for bronze.
