Wales boxer Kevin Evans announced his retirement after losing his gold medal bout in the Commonwealth Games. Super heavyweight Evans had to settle for a silver medal after being outclassed by England's David Price in Melbourne on Saturday.
And the 29-year-old said: "That's me done. I'm retired now.
"I've had a great life out of boxing. I've travelled the world and met amazing people, but I don't fancy getting back into the ring again."
A bloody nose in a controversial semi-final bout cost Evans a chance of a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games four years ago.
But the Carmarthen man said he had no complaints after losing on the outclassed rule in the third round as Price opened up a 20-point lead.
"I was beaten fair and square," said Evans, who had beaten 6ft 8ins Price in their two previous meetings. "He's a good guy.
"He's getting better and better and has got a good future ahead of him.

"He's just too long. I tried to out-jab him, that didn't work. I tried to rough him up, I couldn't quite connect. He's just so awkward and tall."
Evans can boast can boast a World Championship bronze medal from 1999, two bronze Commonwealth Games medals and a glut of domestic honours including gold at this year's Four Nations tournament.
He said winning silver in his final championships was a fitting way to hang up his gloves.
"I'm not too disappointed because I was just beaten. If you're cheated it's a different thing," said Evans.
"But I'm proud of what I've achieved. If I'd have been offered a bronze medal before coming over here I'd have taken it. So anything past that was a bonus."
