Marlon Devonish was disconsolate after failing to qualify for the 200m final. "It was not very good," Devonish told BBC Sport. "In the quarter-final I got cramp in my left calf but I still managed to qualify convincingly.
"I was a bit paranoid about the cramp but I was very disappointed with today's race.
"Before I came here my aim was to get to the 100m final and medal again in the 200, but it doesn't always go to plan, does it?"
