Kerwood had already won gold in the double trap pairs |
Defending champion Charlotte Kerwood secured England's fifth shooting gold medal of the games as she won the women's double trap. The 19-year-old from Sussex scored 106 to break the Games record score she set in Manchester four years ago.
"I don't really believe what I've achieved at these Games," said Kerwood.
"I didn't expect to come here and win two gold medals - it's unbelievable. Before the last round I knew I had
to shoot well and I just went for it."
Rachel Parish ensured an English one-two, with Canada's Cynthia Meyer taking the bronze.
Earlier, Parag Patel followed up his full bore pairs gold with silver in the open full bore.
