Minett and Spicer pipped the Indians to the gold medal |
England's shooters had an excellent day picking up three gold medals on Sunday. Louise Minett and Becky Spicer won by a single point over India's Anjali Bhagwat and Anuja Jung in the women's 50m rifle three positions pairs.
Teenage shooter Charlotte Kerwood, 19, won her second Commonwealth gold medal in the women's doubles trap pairs alongside Rachel Parish.
Glyn Barnett and Parag Patel continued the gold rush, taking the men's open full bore pairs in a tense finale.
"We weren't in the lead until the final range, so we knew we had to have a big one and luckily we did," Patel said.
England's Georgina Geikie and Julia Lydall also took bronze in the women's 10m air pistol pairs and Richard Faulds and Stevan Walton bronze in the men's double trap pairs.
Scotland's Linsay Peden and Ian Shaw finished fourth, just outside the medals in the full bore pairs.
Northern Ireland's Martin Millar and David Calvert were sixth.
