Christian Malcolm was second and Mark Lewis-Francis came fifth in a 100m race in Brisbane as the pair continued to prepare for the Commonwealth Games. Australian record holder Patrick Johnson won into a 2.2 metres headwind. and Malcolm came home in 10.59 seconds.
Malcolm also headed the list of British triumphs by winning the 200m while Nick McCormick edged the 1500m.
James McIlroy, Christine Ohuruogu, Goldie Sayers, Susan Scott, Chris Baillie and Phillips Idowu also won.
Malcolm's success in the 200m, his favoured event, saw him finish ahead of home runner Adam Miller and Jacey Harper of Trinidad.
McCormack's decision to train in Melbourne from the end of January paid off as he was awarded gold in the 1500m despite finishing with the same time of three minutes, 43.33 seconds as New Zealand's Paul Hamblyn.
Australia's Youcef Abdi, who took bronze in the event in the Manchester Commonwealth Games four years ago, came third in 3:43.42.

In the 800m, Northern Ireland's McIlroy justified his status as one of the Games favourites by recording his second victory since arriving in Australia at the end of January - producing a time of 1:48.09 to see off New Zealand's Jason Stewart (1:48.37) and Gary Reed of Canada (1:49.14).
European under-23 medallist Ohuruogu finished just ahead of Australia's Caitlin Willis in the 400m with a time of 52.60 seconds while Sayers threw 56.30 metres to win the javelin ahead of home athletes Kathryn Mitchell and Kimberley Mickie.
Scott took the 800m in 2:03.60 while Scottish compatriot Baillie beat England's Andy Turner by just one hundredth of a second to win the 100m hurdles in 13.85 seconds.
And 2002 silver medallist Idowu won the triple jump with an effort of 16.55m.
Lee McConnell was third in the 400m hurdles in 58.14 seconds, behind Australian Jana Pittman and England's Nicola Sanders, who clocked 55.93.
