Hatton was knocked out by Manny Pacquiao in May |
Ricky Hatton is still undecided about whether to continue boxing, according to his father Ray. Ray told BBC Radio Manchester: "He says he's got that much going on with his promotions, TV, clothing range. "The next day he's back saying 'I'll fight again'. It shows he's still not right," he added. Hatton Jr has been considering his future since being knocked out by Manny Pacquiao in the IBO light-welterweight title fight in Las Vegas in May. Some of the brightest young boxers in the North West and on Ricky's books will be fighting on Saturday night in Altrincham as the 'Hitman' continues to develop local talent. | When he wakes up two or three days on the trot and only thinks of one thing, that'll make his mind up, but he's to-ing and fro-ing at the minute |
Ray believes such involvement may make Ricky's decision easier if he quits the sport: "It's big thing, he's still connected with boxing, but a lot of people don't realise he's got a training licence, a corner licence so he probably would get a different buzz out of it. "It won't be his hand being raised, hut hopefully one of his young fighters and he'll get just as big a buzz out of that. "When he wakes up two or three days on the trot and only thinks of one thing, that'll make his mind up, but he's to-ing and fro-ing at the minute."
