Jeffries won a bronze medal at light-heavyweight at the Beijing Olympics

Tony Jeffries enjoyed a sensational start to his professional career when he stopped Aliaksandr Vayavoda with a victory inside three minutes.

The 23-year-old, fighting in the super-middleweight category, clattered his Belarussian opponent with a series of right-hand punches in Barnsley.

And 18 seconds before the bell he floored Vayavoda, forcing referee Howard Foster stepping in.

Jefferies is the first of the Beijing Olympians to make his paid debut.

He won a bronze medal a light-heavyweight at the Olympics.
