Stoke flyweight Chris Edwards battered his way to the British and Commonwealth titles by stopping Wayne Bloy. Grimsby's Bloy quit at the end of the fourth round with a damaged right hand but had taken plenty of punishment. Boxing in front of his hometown fans, Edwards, 32, regained the British crown which he lost last March to Andy Bell. Bloy, 26, out of the ring since also losing to Bell in December 2007, had no answers to the relentless attacking style of his more experienced opponent.
