Leicester boxer Rendall Munroe wants to hold his next title defence in his home town after beating Italian Fabrizio Trotta in Dublin on Thursday. It was the 28-year-old bin man's third defence of his European super bantamweight title and he is now set to fight again on 27 February. Trainer Jason Shinfield told BBC Radio Leicester: "The fight went absolutely to plan. "We are now looking for a big venue somewhere in Leicester." Trotta was unable to continue after spraining his wrist throwing a punch halfway through the fifth round. Shinfield added: "Rendall was really ripping the body shots in and [Trotta] was looking for a way out then." Munroe's next opponent will be announced shortly but is rumoured to be Spain's Kiko Martinez.
