Unbeaten Duddy has claimed 22 straight wins as a pro |
Derry boxer John Duddy will top the bill at the King's Hall on 8 December. Duddy's first fight in Northern Ireland has been given the go-ahead as his proposed world title fight, scheduled for 26 January, has been put back.
Unbeaten Duddy will instead challenge WBC middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik in June at Madison Square Garden.
Details of the Belfast show are expected to be confirmed next week with Dungiven fighter Paul McCloskey expected to challenge for a title.
Duddy's bill will come just seven days after Belfast's Wayne McCullough meets Spanish European champion Kiko Martinez in a non-title fight.
Duddy could fight at Madison Square Garden on 23 February as a prelude to his JUne contest.
The Derry man defeated Price Arron with a second-round stoppage in his last fight in Dublin on Saturday night.
