Commonwealth light middleweight champion Bradley Pryce says he is ready to challenge for a world title. Newport man Pryce, 26, made the fifth defence of his belt with a stunning third-round knockout of Martin Concepcion in Nottingham on Saturday.
That took his record to 26-6 (16 KOs) and he has not lost since October 2005.
"One more defence then I want a title shot in the middle of next year, I spoke to promoter Frank Warren, he said he's making it happen," said Pryce.

"When Frank says that, he delivers. My performances are already at world level.
"I'm sparring in my Newbridge gym with world champions Joe Calzaghe, Enzo Maccarinelli and Gavin Rees under one of the best trainers in the world [Enzo Calzaghe]."
Pryce's bid for a shot at the highest level was supported on Saturday by boxing legend Barry McGuigan, but the man known as 'Sugar Sweet' faces formidable opposition.
Vernon Forrest wears the WBC belt vacated by Floyd Mayweather Jr, while the other major titles are held by Joachim Alcine (WBA), Cory Spinks (IBF) and Sergiy Dzinziruk (WBO).
"I've never ducked anyone in my entire career and I'd happily meet any of them," Pryce told BBC Sport Wales.
