Williams lost to Skelton back in July |
Danny Williams faces a surprise rematch against Audley Harrison after stepping in at one week's notice to replace injured Matt Skelton. Skelton was forced to pull out of his Commonwealth heavyweight title defence on 9 December in London after fracturing his right hand in training.
But Williams has come in to face Harrison almost exactly one year on from their first fight.
The Brixton man won that bout at the same venue via split decision.
"Now I can really end the career of Audley Harrison once and for all," said Williams, who has not fought since a dismal Commonwealth title loss to Skelton in July.
 | I don't know why, but I had a strange feeling that a big fight was coming up |
"Harrison's got no excuses at all when I smash him up this time and I've only had one week's notice for the fight. "I've been training hard since my loss to Skelton and kept out of the media spotlight to work on my overall fitness and technique.
"I don't know why, but I had a strange feeling that a big fight was coming up and that I should increase my training and out of the blue this opportunity came up."
Williams had been provisionally scheduled to face British champion Scott Gammer in Wales early next year.
