Alex Arthur would welcome a fight return to Glasgow |
European super-featherweight champion Alex Arthur would welcome the chance to share a bill with Scott Harrison again. WBO featherweight champion Harrison's career is under threat as he battles depression and alcohol problems.
But promoter Frank Warren has suggested that he could be on the same card as fellow Scot Arthur in September.
And Arthur said: "I would love to share a bill with Scott again - it would be a fantastic idea. If Frank could make that happen then it would be great."
Harrison withdrew from his most recent title defence against Gairy St Clair, while Arthur retained his title with a technical decision over Sergey Gulyakevich at Meadowbank Stadium in April.
The Edinburgh fighter last appeared on the same bill as Glasgow's Harrison three years ago at the Braehead Arena but has fought in his hometown since.

"I love fighting in Glasgow and have missed it because the public are brilliant to me," said Arthur.
"Sometimes, I think I get as good a support through there as I do in Edinburgh.
"I used to sell 1,000 to 1,500 tickets to my fans in Edinburgh who would go through to Glasgow and make a night of it.
"But I also got a good reception from the fans in Glasgow and the atmosphere inside the Braehead Arena is amazing."
A September fight will also allow Arthur time to let the wounds from his brutal battle with Gulyakevich heal.
"I spoke to Frank Warren briefly on Saturday and he offered me a date on 15 July," he said.
"But my doctor said I couldn't do any sparring because of the cut I got above my eye against Gulyakevich. So, for once in my life, I took his advice.
"I couldn't go into a fight without any sparring and not being sharp. So, this time, I told Frank to let it lie.
"I've started some training and I'm watching my diet, but I will step it up when I have a date and, hopefully, that will be in September.
