Scott Harrison admitted to depression and alcohol problems |
The manager of Scott Harrison says he is flying to Glasgow for more talks with the trouble boxer. The WBO featherweight champion checked into The Priory Clinic for depression and alcohol problems earlier this week.
But Frank Maloney has revealed that the 28-year-old fighter walked out in order to get a drink on Thursday before returning hours later.
Harrison was due to have defended his world title at Belfast's King's Hall on Saturday but was forced to cancel.

Mr Maloney said: "I am just going to have a chat with him and his father and see how things are going and see where we go from here.
"I don't want him in London. I'd just like him somewhere away from everything and all the temptations.
"But it doesn't matter where we put him because the drink is always there."

Mr Maloney said he wanted to help Harrison overcome his problems.
"I have known him for such a long time and have been with him since 18, the first time he put on a pair of professional gloves, and I was so proud to put the world title belt around his shoulders," he said.
"It's been an incredible journey and I don't want this journey to end like this.
"It's because I'm in London and he's in Glasgow that I think this has taken its toll."
Mr Maloney has also called for the bar staff of Glasgow to refuse Harrison drinks should he enter their premises.
"I don't want people to serve him and I want people to point out to him that he is wasting his life and his career by drinking, " he said.
