Q&A: Clinton Woods
IBF light heavyweight champion Clinton Woods is stepping up his training ahead of a March defence of his title - possibly against Roy Jones Jr.

BBC Sport users sent in their questions to him using the Five Live messageboards - here are his answers.

Clinton Woods
Woods wants to fight Roy Jones Jr and Glen Johnson again
You've fought them both, so who is a tougher opponent Glen Johnson or Roy Jones? (from caesars-palace)

That's a really hard question for me. I lost within six rounds to Jones when I fought him in 2002, but I wasn't really ready for that fight. I think I'd still go for him though at his peak. He had the speed and the movement as well as power.

What is the biggest fight out there for Clinton Woods right now? (from KT1)

Antonio Tarver because he's considered to be the number one in the world at my weight. I'd beat him on points.

Would you consider moving up to cruiserweight in an attempt to become a two weight champion? (Craig Gordon)

No. I'm too small. When the cruiser limit was lower I might have considered it, but when they raised it to 200lb, it went too high. That's too big for me because you have big guys coming down from heavyweight. My frame is not big enough.

Would you consider giving a shot to British and Commonwealth champion Peter Oboh? (Wolfhound13)

I would but he has to get rated by the IBF. He definitely has the potential. He is massive for the weight and very tough. Maybe he needs to switch promoters to get a shot because his career is being wasted.

Congratulations on a fantastic 2005. Which British fighter do you pick to make waves in 2006? (sugar-ray-jay)

Amir Khan. He is great to watch, he's got everything and he looks the part. He is going to be a star.

You come from an area of Yorkshire that has a fantastic heritage with old time greats like the Crossley Brothers, what do you think your boxing legacy will be? (steelcity)

I'd like to be remembered as a fighter who did it the old-fashioned way. I did it in a quiet way, with little razzmatazz and won the Central Areas, Commonwealth, British, European and then world titles. I didn't fight for daft belts but I won every major title.

Who do you think is going to win, Jeff Lacy or Joe Calzaghe? And would you still fight Calzaghe if he gets knocked out by Lacy? (TheBinman)

I'd love to fight Calzaghe, but he needs to move up in weight and then get rated. There has been a lot of talk, but I'd like it to happen and I think he can beat Lacy even though many people are backing the American. I want Calzaghe to win and I think he can - I'm patriotic.

What do you plan to do when you hang up the gloves? Will you stay in boxing? (Ironfist)

If I got the right guy, I might like to go into training. But I'm not sure about staying in boxing. It has changed since I was an amateur. I might just disappear and go fishing.

Who is your favourite fighter of all-time? (Draco)

Sugar Ray Leonard, closely followed by Tommy "Hitman" Hearns. Their first fight was amazing, especially the speed and punching they showed into the final rounds. I don't know what they fed them back then!

Leonard was incredible - he had the footwork and movement and his title win over Wilfred Benitez was superb. I watch his fights all the time.
