Junior Witter was far from his best but retained his British, Commonwealth and European light welterweight titles with a battling points win over Colin Lynes. All three judges awarded Friday's fight at London's York Hall to the champion.
Witter was not happy with his display and said he needed bigger challenges to bring out the best in him.
"I'm not hungry for these fights any more," said the Bradford fighter, who hopes to challenge WBC champion Floyd Mayweather some time next year.
On the undercard, 24-year-old Billy Corcoran stopped Roy Rutherford in four rounds to claim the English super featherweight title.
