Wright-Trinidad set for Las Vegas
Winky Wright
Wright beat Shane Mosley twice in 2004
The super-fight between Winky Wright and Felix Trinidad will go ahead on 14 May at Las Vegas' MGM Grand.

WBC and WBA light middleweight champion Wright was originally unhappy with promoter Don King's financial offer.

But US promoter King has now unveiled a non-title middleweight match-up, which will be one of the most hyped of 2005.

"It wasn't easy to get this done, but I knew it was simply a matter of time because in the end both Tito and Winky like to fight," said King.

"These are boxers who just don't walk away from a challenge and this is going to be a must-see fan's fight."

Wright, who had been ordered to face Francisco Castillejo, has reportedly been assured a tilt at middleweight king Bernard Hopkins in September should he beat Trinidad.

Puerto Rican Felix Trinidad showed his class to beat Ricardo Mayorga in October in his first fight since retiring in 2002.
