Wright-Trinidad talks break down
Winky Wright
Wright is the consensus light middleweight champion
The proposed "superfight" between Winky Wright and Felix Trinidad has been thrown into doubt.

According to SecondsOut.com, light middleweight king Wright felt 19 March was too soon after his tough victory over Shane Mosley last November.

Wright is also said to be unhappy with the $3m being offered by Trinidad's promoter Don King.

King now wants Puerto Rican legend Trinidad to fight on 9 April, whether that be against Wright or not.

King wanted Wright to be Trinidad's first comeback opponent last October and offered the WBC and WBA champion $5m.

But Wright was obliged to give Mosley, who he originally beat last March, a rematch and is disappointed King has now dropped his offer.
