Junior Witter has offered to end the search for a suitable opponent for Ricky Hatton. Hatton is due to defend his WBU light welterweight title on 12 June, but original foe Sharmba Mitchell could not agree terms with promoter Frank Warren.
"Apart from Sharmba Mitchell there is no credible opponent out there for Hatton apart from me," said Witter.
"Maybe Frank knows, as my trainer Brendan Ingle always says, that I would stand Ricky Hatton on his head."
