Winky Wright has been stripped of his IBF light middleweight belt. Wright is contractually obliged to give Shane Mosley a rematch and is unable to defend against number one contender Kasim Ouma.
Wright could also be stripped by the WBC if his next fight is not against interim champion Javier Castillejo.
The 32-year-old Wright dethroned Mosley in March and many are surprised that the former champion has activated his rematch clause.
