Froch is undefeated in 13 fights |
Tony Dodson has relinquished his British super middleweight title after pulling out of a long-awaited showdown with Commonwealth champion Carl Froch. Dodson, who had already pulled out of the bout twice due to injury, has cited a twisted back as his latest reason.
According to Froch's promoters, Hennessy Sports, Belfast's Brian Magee has turned down the chance to step in.
Instead, Derby's Damon Hague will fight Froch for both titles at the Nottingham Arena on Friday 24 September.
The fight will appear on the same card as Howard Eastman's European middleweight defence against Spain's Jorge Sendra.
